New York Attorney General Sues Esquire for Online Gambling

Online casinos are gambling websites that offer games of chance for money and have been licensed in countries outside the United States. Visitors can deposit money into the casino using a credit card, electronic check, wire transfer or other method. Players can play for free or real money and may be able to set time, loss and deposit limits, self-exclude from casinos or take a break from the games. In March, New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer sued Esquire for running online casino advertisements.
